【获奖理由】
从80年代晚期的一座国有四星级酒店开始，这20年，陈妙林先生创造了一个可供中国旅游酒店业学习的”酒店•地产”运行模式；并不断以酒店为根本而发展地产的方向，使开元集团成为名副其实的中国旅游酒店的龙头；亦是群雄争霸时期而得公认的英雄式的财富大家。20强和50强都成为历史，今天的陈妙林，既是EMBA，又是民族品牌的代言人；更是财富的榜样。
20 years before since the end of 1980s when he began with a state-own 4-star hotel, Mr. Chen Miao Lin inaugurated a new operation module of “Hotel & Real estate” for the Chinese tourism and hotel industry. He continues to develop real estate with hotel as the core, pushing Kai Yuan Group to be the real leader of China’s tourism and hotel industry, as well as the hero who plays well with the fortune in all the severe competitions. The ranking of top 20 and top 50 becomes history now, but Chen Miao Lin is still not only a EMBA holder, but also the image ambassador of national brand and the hero of fortune.

陈妙林先生1986年10月-1998年03月任萧山宾馆总经理、杭州之江度假村总经理、杭州阳光休闲山庄总经理、开元旅业总公司总经理；1998年03月至今任开元旅业集团有限公司董事长、总裁；1998年荣获萧山市劳动模范称号、1999年荣获杭州市劳动模范称号、荣获萧山区优秀党员称号、入选中国旅游十大风云人物、连续六届的萧山区人大代表、2003年 当选浙江省十届人大代表、杭州市优秀社会主义事业建设者。
